Our members find opportunities to advance in their profession through monthly meetings with programs on current issues in Training & Development and by involvement in the chapter through officer positions, committee involvement, community and special projects.
Greater Chattanooga Chapter receives the the Chapter of the Month (COM) award for October 2009!
The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD)’s Greater Chattanooga Chapter has received the highest award from the National ASTD in the Sharing Our Success (SOS) recognition program, the Chapter of the Month (COM) award for October 2009. This National award recognizes the local chapter's achievements in the CORE (Chapter Operating Requirements) element of membership, SOS submission acceptance, and strengthening the chapter for innovation and growth. The efforts of the Chattanooga Chapter demonstrate a replicable format for other chapters around the country to adopt and improve chapter's business. “Chapter of the Month is an honor that is well deserved by the Chattanooga chapter and much coveted by other chapters!” reports Lisa Marie Gardner, Chair of ASTD’s Chapter Recognition Committee.
ASTD Recognizes the Chattanooga Chapter in its “Sharing Our Success” Program!
The Chattanooga Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) was recognized for its submission to the ASTD “Sharing Our Success” (SOS) program.
